Spring Deal event — why are there two different badges? (Big Spring Deal vs Lowest price in 90 days)

Noticing something weird on the front end during the Spring Deal event.

Some listings are showing “Big Spring Deal” , while others are showing “Lowest price in 90 days” .

From what I can tell, very few listings have the Big Spring Deal badge — most are showing the lowest price badge instead.

Anyone else seeing this? Is this a system glitch or is there some logic behind which badge gets shown?

Checked this morning and mine finally switched to the Spring Deal badge. Looks like they fixed whatever was going on.

Good to know, mine was still showing the other badge earlier today. Hopefully it means the pricing glitch is actually sorted out and not just changing labels again.

Progress bar question — for Lightning Deals, I noticed some listings show the progress bar and some don’t. Does that depend on whether you set a quantity limit?

Yeah, the progress bar usually shows up when the deal has a set inventory cap or when Amazon is tracking how many units are left. If there’s no visible limit, it often just won’t display. I’ve also seen it disappear once the deal starts filling up, so it can be kind of inconsistent.

Same here. I saw “Big Spring Deal” for a few minutes, then refreshed and it changed to “Lowest price in 90 days.” Has been stuck on that since.

Yeah I noticed the same thing, it seems like theyre swapping the badge text around depending on when the page loads. Mine went from Big Spring Deal to Lowest price in 90 days too, so I guess it's just a display bug or some A/B test weirdness.

Anyone actually seeing a lift from the event? My spend went up, sales didn’t. Feels like a normal day with extra fees.

The logic actually makes sense. If you’re already at your 90-day low, that’s a stronger signal to customers than just “it’s on sale for the event.” Amazon wants to show the badge that’s most likely to convert.
That said, it is confusing when you’re expecting one badge and see another.
