I’m at my wit‘s end and hoping someone has a legit, actionable solution.

The situation:

  • I owned the #1 Best Seller badge in my niche category consistently

  • A competitor dumped their product into my category — it’s completely unrelated

  • Since their product has higher overall volume, they grabbed the BS badge immediately

  • My sales have crashed hard (down 50+ units a day)

What I’ve tried (all useless):

  • Emailed every Amazon support address I could find — bounced, generic replies, or they thought I wanted to change my own category

  • Used Brand Registry “Report a Violation” — denied repeatedly

  • Reported via Seller Central abuse dashboard — zero action

What I know:

  • They clearly added this extra node through a service — they still keep their original category

  • They’re not responding to messages

What I’m asking:

Has anyone actually succeeded at removing a competitor from a wrong category?

I don’t want generic “just report them” tips — I’ve done that. I need steps that worked in 2026.

Did the customer complaint route work for anyone? Ordering the item and reporting it as misleading?

What about reporting invalid variations?
